SMA is also the manufacturer of inverters sold in Australia under the Schuco brand.

How do I submit a warranty claim on a faulty SMA inverter?

If you are one of the unfortunate few whose SMA inverter has stopped working, Service My Solar can help. If your inverter is still covered by warranty we can coordinate the claims process to have it repaired or replaced. We just ask that you supply a copy of the following items:

• Your receipt, showing that the inverter is still under warranty.
• Any information you have about your system’s installation.
• The serial number, which you will find on the upper right-hand side of your inverter.

When we have all the information we need, we will liaise with the SMA warranty department for you. Once we receive approval from SMA to proceed with the claim, we’ll be in touch with you to coordinate a visit from one of our experienced technicians.

What if my SMA inverter is no longer covered by warranty?

Even once your warranty expires, if your SMA inverter breaks down Service My Solar can help! Simply contact us to book an inverter health check for your unit. We’ll determine what is causing the problem and do our best to fix it on the spot.

In the event your inverter is irreparable, our technicians always carry replacement inverters with them. If necessary, they can have a new unit installed all within the one visit to get your system back in action as quickly as possible.
